TREATMENT PROTOCOL
THERAPUTIC CUPPING
Speeding the healing process
Therapeutic cupping is a form of manual therapy that involves placing specifically designed cups on the skin to create suction. The suction that the cups create bring blood flow the area being treated. Improving or increasing blood flow to an area can help speed up the healing process.
What to expect
This technique is typically comfortable although it is not uncommon to experience some discomfort during treatment. Afterwards, the cupping may leave temporary marks or bruises on the skin due to the suction. Therapeutic Cupping is typically a part of a larger treatment plan that may involve chiropractic adjustments, dry needling, other soft tissue techniques, and rehabilitative exercises.
